transfer service

About our transfer service:

Whether you land at one of Rome's airports, sail into the port of Civitavecchia, or arrive to Rome by train, you'll need transportation to get to your hotel, and we'll be happy to provide it!
There's nothing better than knowing you're being expected when traveling to a foreign country and the private car transfer is the best way for you to reach your hotel or to come and meet us in the city for your golf cart tour!
We'll also transfer you from Rome to any other city in Italy and take you sightseeing on the way.

While traveling between Rome and Florence, we can take you to Orvieto and Sienna and, transferring from Rome to Sorrento, we can stop for you to visit the famous excavations of Pompeii.
Transferring intercity this may seem expensive if compared to the cost of the train ride, but it really isn't. Because we make you save money and time. Taking the train from Rome to Florence, or vice versa, you'll use up one day and then you'll have to use another day to travel to Sienna and San Gimignano for example, while we can take to both these latter places on the way to Florence form Rome.

Combine sightseeing and transfer with us, you'll save time and have a lot of fun!

Transfer from the airport

You'll be met at the airport upon arrival of aircraft as you'll have specified. After collecting your luggage and clearing customs, you'll be routed to the public lounge where throngs of people wait for passengers to come out. We cannot come and meet you in the baggage claim area, where the carrousels are, you’ll have to exit that area to meet us! Once in the public lounge you’ll see your driver posting your name. Make sure to have my cell phone number with you, you never know what can happen in a crowded and chaotic airport! Normally it takes about 40 minutes from the time when the plane lands until you actually get to the public lounge. If you see that it will take longer, for example if your luggage is lost or simply takes a long time for it to come out, please call us from one of the public phones, or better from your own cell phone. The driver will help you with your luggage and store it in the car. You'll be comfortably and safely driven to your hotel or wherever else you wish.

Transfer from the seaport of Civitavecchia

You’ll find the car or minivan, right on the pier where your ship will dock, parked as close as possible to the gangplank (footbridge), with your name posted on its windshield. If parking close to the gangplank (footbridge) shouldn't be possible, we'll be standing near it posting your name.

The tip from the port to the city takes about 1/105 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Generally during the summer and week-ends traffic is lighter. The trip from Rome to the port generally takes only one hour because traffic is easier leaving Rome than it is coming into the city.

Your driver will take you to your hotel or, in case you're just visiting Rome for the day, he will drive you to meet us for your fabulous golf cart tour of Rome!

If this latter is your case, the driver will also take you back to the port at the end of your tour.

Transfer from the train station

There are several different train stations in Rome, but the ones generally used by the tourists are: Termini, Tiburtina and San Pietro, the one near the Vatican.

Generally you can just take a taxi from the train station to any of the hotels in the city, but if there are more than 3 people in your party you may want to be sure to have a large enough vehicle to accommodate your party and your luggage, or you may be going to a place out of town, and you want to be sure that the person who'll be taking you will know where to go and that you'll not get ripped off.

Last but not least, you may want to try the excitement of riding our old fashioned, typically Italian, "Ape" buggy! An unusual way to get around and a very fun vehicle!

Transfers from anywhere to anywhere and sightseeing on the way!

You may want to visit Tuscany after spending a few days in Rome, or maybe relax on the Amalfi Coast.

You can be sure we'll be pleased to take you to the above mentioned places or anywhere else you'll want to go! You may need to transfer to some remote place in the Tuscan countryside, perhaps where you rented a villa, just as you land at the airport. All you need to do is give us the address, and you can be sure we'll find the place!

But the best is doing some sightseeing while you transfer from one city to another. For example, when you travel from Rome to Florence or vice versa, you car tour a lot of interesting places on the way, without having to use up another day to sightsee them. The list of the places we could take you to on such a trip is practically endless: Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio, Todi, Assisi, Cortona, Sienna, San Gimignano, you just need to make your choice! In case your interested in having a wonderful culinary experience, we can take you to some great restaurants for lunch.

The visit to a winery or a wine cellar and/ or an olive oil can be included in your transfer/tour also!

Civita di Bagnoregio, it can be visited when travelling from Rome to Florence or vice versa.

You'll find no booking link on our website and we don't think there will ever be one, we would like to keep the "personal touch". We do personalized tours and we like to treat our clients as friends, we'll leave the automatic booking system to the bus tour companies and airlines for now.
