If one day is all you have in Rome and you want to see everything, this is the tour for you. In the afternoon, after a quick lunch break, you tour the Vatican with a private guide. Private guides & tickets included – Prices per person – Adults, 18 y. o. +

9:30 AM.
Start your golf cart tour of Rome. Your guide will meet you at your address if within our pickup radius.
If it’s not within our pickup radius, please come to one of our offices, the easiest one for you to reach.
Our front office is near the Vatican Museums’ entrance, in Via Santamaura, 9.
Our operating office/garage is in the park of Villa Borghese, but the office is not easy to find for it’s underground, so we’ll meet you in the nearby Piazzale delle Canestre.

9:30 AM.
Meet your guide for the morning golf cart tour. 4-hour golf cart tour comprehensive of the visit of the Colosseum interior with our skip-the-line tickets.
Depending on where we start from, before or after showing you some of the highlights in the city, your guide will park the golf cart and walk you inside the Colosseum to provide an extensive commentary. The golf cart tour will end at our office by the Vatican around 1:30 pm and you’ll have the time to get some quick lunch before entering the Vatican with your private guide.
Due to the scarce availability of Colosseum of skip-the-line tickets, this tour must be booked as early as possible.

2/2:30 pm.
Meet your specialized private guide and enter the Vatican. Your guide will have your skip-the-line voucher and will take care of the entry formalities. During the tour, the guide will provide extensive commentary.
The tour will include the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.
At the end of the tour of the Vatican, you’ll be on your own, but we can transfer you back your hotel for an additional cost.

During your long walk through the galleries, you will see many paintings, tapestries, frescoes, and statues dating from different eras and made by different artists, not always tied to religion. You’ll also see ancient Roman statues, Egyptian, Etruscan, and Greek artifacts. It is a walk that you will enjoy! You will finally arrive at the Sistine Chapel. The guide is not allowed to talk in the Sistine Chapel, so he / she will use the pictures displayed in the Museums to tell you all about the frescoes before entering the room and give you a pamphlet with pictures and captions that will remind you, once you are alone contemplating the chapel, what the guide explained.

Dear guest, our tour of the Vatican has traditionally included the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica.
However, due to the large number of pilgrims visiting Rome for the Holy Year, there may be challenges in including the Basilica in the tour this year.
We will make every effort to keep it part of the Vatican tour, but it may not always be possible.
Occasionally, the Basilica may be closed without prior notice or used for special ceremonies. In such cases, entry may still be permitted, but guides may not be allowed to speak and provide explanations.
We apologize in advance to those who may not be able to visit the Basilica.

You can also visit the Basilica separately from the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel if you have the time. Please visit the website for the details of these two tours: St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican “Grottoes” and Dome. Vatican Gardens, Vatican Museums and Sistine ChapelVatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.
